The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program at the Logan
County Department of Public Health provides free
breast and cervical cancer screening, diagnostic procedures, and follow-up for uninsured women
who live in a eight county area that includes Cass,
DeWitt, Logan,
Macon,
Mason,
Morgan,
Piatt,
and
Shelby counties
in Central Illinois.
The program is cooperatively funded
through a grant by the Illinois Department of Public Health and
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is
supplemented with grants by the Memorial Affiliate of
the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Services are obtained from IBCCP providers in each county.
Case management services are provided for clients with abnormal screening results.
Woman found to have pre-cancerous conditions or cancer are referred to the Illinois Department of Public Aid for the follow-up care through the Illinois Medicaid Treatment Act.
While the program primarily serves women ages 35-64, symptomatic younger women may be enrolled if they meet program guidelines.

Age Requirements:
35 years old or older for the FREE Pap tests and breast exams.
40 years old or older for the FREE mammograms.
Other Eligibility Requirements:
Women must be uninsured. Call for
information.
Fees:
If a woman qualifies for this program there is NO FEE for these services.
