Home Health Agency
What is It?
Skilled nursing care, physical, speech, and occupational therapies, home health aide services and social services provided to clients in their homes as prescribed by their doctors
Who is Eligible?
Any person living in the following counties who is confined to home, has a skilled care need, and has a physician's order for home care:

Who Pays?
Costs are paid by Medicare, private insurance, Medicaid, or private pay based on a sliding rate of fee scale
Services Include:
Dressing changes
Injections
Laboratory tests by venipuncture
Diabetes control and teaching
Health teaching and supervision
Bathing and personal care
Treatment as ordered by physician
Catheter changes

House Calls
Registered nurses are available to assist clients in their own homes with activities such as medication set-up, blood pressure monitoring, and venipuncture
Certified Nurse Aides are available to assist clients in their own homes with bathing, hair care, nail care, and other personal care as needed
A nominal fee is charged

Respite Care
Certified Nurses Aides will come to the home
and relieve caregivers for a period of 2-4 hours, but no more than 20 hours per
month
Services are only available weekdays between
8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Initial
screening to determine if a client qualifies will be performed by Senior
